CLIMAFRICA - CLIMATE CHANGE PREDICTIONS IN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA: IMPACTS AND ADAPTATIONS

brochure ClimAfrica is an international project funded by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme (FP7)
EN, FR

WHY CLIMAFRICA?

Africa is probably the most vulnerable continent to climate change and climate variability. Nevertheless most of the available studies on climate predictions and impacts are based on scarce information often not adapted to the African context.

ClimAfrica is thus conceived to respond to the urgent international need for the most appropriate and up-to-date tools to better understand and predict climate change in Africa, assess its impact on African ecosystems and population, and develop the correct adaptation strategies.
